They are used already in the first stages of the investment, e.g. when drawing up the documentation of land for development. Thanks to the low photogrammetric air raid of drones, an accurate orthophotomap can be obtained easily and quickly. Drones provide not only photos but also three-dimensional models of photographed investments.
The collected documentation is then used for measurements, e.g. to verify the number of earthworks or to calculate the volume of excavations, foundation dimensions, object geometry, etc. On the basis of the pictures from the drones, it is possible to determine in detail the volume of sand on the construction site or the depth of the pipeline embedding, which significantly translates into higher safety levels.
